The Ultimate Money Making Tips – Chapter 8

It’s nice to see you again…

After the sponsored review, we’re going to discover and reveal the unknown parts of RSS technology!

I knew some of you have heard the RSS all over the places. However, how much do you think you know about it? Well, RSS (most commonly translated as "Really Simple Syndication" ) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works. RSS is a very common technology, especially for blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video. It’s mostly exists in a standardized format.

According to the latest statistic, RSS technology by far has over billions of subscribers. Hence, many website owners are starting to find ways to monetize this new content distribution channel.

Amongst the RSS technology, the Feedburber already has its own publisher network, and you can sign-up to start displaying CPM based advertising on your feed footer. The Bidvertiser recently introduced a RSS feed ad option as well, with a PPC scheme.

The more interesting thing is, you can sell banners or a sponsored message on your website’s feed directly, if you have a very famous website, such as John Chow or Shoemoney did!

The Ultimate Money Making Tips – Chapter 7

I personally didn’t very into this type of program, as Google hates it and they don’t want people to get involved with it. However, the sponsored reviews are one of the best methods to earn you some substantial money each month. It might not make you filthy rich, but at least you have some extra money to spend in your daily life!

By participating one of these sponsored reviews networks, it gives you the opportunity to write sponsored posts on a wide range of topics. However, not all bloggers are willing to get paid to write about a specific product or website. The ones who do are making good money out of it.

Basically, the blogger will be paid based on their writing and editorial ability. A sponsored review is normally ranging from a few bucks to hundreds of dollars!

You can go and find your own sponsor/advertiser who interested on having a review on your website. By this way, it cuts off the commissions of the middleman.

By the way, here are the top three sponsored reviews companies on the internet. I ranked it based on its popularity!

1. Pay Per Post
2. Sponsored Reviews
3. Review Me

Until then, take care and see ya…

The Ultimate Money Making Tips – Chapter 4

"It’s all about the money..." Every time, when I’m listening to this song, it makes me feels that we all are short in money, especially in this economic downturn period.

As the internet largest search engine tycoon, Google had declared that those websites who selling text links without the nofollow tag would be penalized, including dropped out their Page Rank! Due to this reason, this monetization method became less popular.

However, many website owners are still using text links to monetize their sites. Some of the website/blog owners are using the nofollow tag and some not.

One of the advantages of this method is that it is not intrusive. Anyone can sell text links directly through his website or use specialized networks.

By the way, if you’re dare to challenge the Big G, then you might want to try out these text-link ads programs:

• Text-Link-Ads
• Text-Link-Brokers
• LinkWorth
• TNX

PS: If you insist to use the above programs, then use it on your own risk!

The Ultimate Money Making Tips – Chapter 3

Welcome back, guys! Have you tried out any PPC or CPM program that I recommended you in the last two blogposts? If you haven’t, then you should have a peek on it right now!

There are many ways to earn money online, and one of the effective methods is to sell your own advertising space. Believe it or not, most of the well-known bloggers earn their living, by selling their own website spaces to several advertisers! As a return, over hundred or even thousand of dollars are paying to them.

Why this method is so profitable for the bloggers? First of all, it allows you to cut out the middleman commissions and to determine your own rates. The most popular banner formats on the web are:

1. The 728×90 leaderboard,
2. The 120×600 skyscraper,
3. The 300×250 rectangle, and
4. The 125×125 button.

Every program has its advantages and disadvantages. The biggest downside of direct banner advertising is you need to have a huge traffic or readers to attract the big spender advertisers. In addition, you have to spend time managing the sales process, the banners and the payments.

No matter what, it’s still the best way to monetize your website/blog!

The Ultimate Money Making Tips – Chapter 2

A few days ago, we’ve been discussing about the PPC programs. Today, we’re switching our attention to the CPM advertising networks!

Technically, CPM advertising networks act like the PPC networks, except that you will get pay according to the number of impressions that the ads displayed on your site.

For your information, CPM is the short form of “Cost Per Mille”, and it refers to the cost for 1,000 impressions.

Let’s say, a blog that generates 100,000 page views monthly displaying an advertising banner with a $1 CPM, therefore, will earn $100 monthly automatically!
CPM rates vary with the network, the position of the ad and the format. The better the network, the higher the CPM rate (because they have access to more advertisers).
The closer you put the ad to the top of the page, the higher the CPM. Also, the bigger the format, then the higher the CPM.

You can get as low as $0,10 and as high as $10 per 1,000 impressions (more in some special cases). CPM advertising tends to work well on websites with a high page views per visitor ratio (e.g., online forums, magazines and so on).

Here is the list of some of the famous CPM advertising networks:

1. Right Media
2. Casale Media
3. Burst Media
4. Value Click
5. Tribal Fusion

Good luck for your online earning journey!
